Protecting the pool with glass pool fencing in Sydney

The Australian administration has imposed the pool fence rule because of a large percentage of pool drowning. It means that the households with swimming pools are required to install a perimeter near the pool for the safety of the small children.

Glass pool fencing in Sydney is just a part of the pool security regulations. It is obvious that the area beside the swimming pool is wet and moist, mainly when the pool is utilized frequently. No material other than glass would be perfect for the swimming pool fence.

Most people use wood for pool fencing in Sydney. Wood is not long-lasting as the moisture can cause rotting. Also, the people have used a rock which turned out to be a great alternative, but it is not suggested as much as glass because it often develops moulds and appears unclean.

Glass is long-lasting and best for pool fencing as it does not get affected by moisture.

Varieties of glass fencing

  1. Framed glass

Metals are used for framing the glass. There are metal posts in the middle.

  1. Frameless glass

It requires only a few metal bolts for installation. No other metal is used in the fencing.

  1. Semi-framed glass

Metal posts are used for installation. There is no metal frame involved in this type of fencing.

Maintenance is one of the factors that are considered while choosing a type of frame. People select frameless glass fence as they are comfortable to clean and needs less polishing due to zero metal installations.
